Pre-requisites
There are no pre-requisites for the CPR course. However, participants must have a minimum level of literacy and numeracy to be admitted to this course.
Assessment Information
To successfully attain this certification, various assessment methods will be utilized, such as a questionnaire and observation of both simulated and practical activities.
Additionally, you must demonstrate the ability to perform CPR on the floor for a duration of 2 minutes.

**Unique Student Identifier (USI)**
A USI is a mandatory reference number that allows an individual’s training and qualifications acquired anywhere in Australia to be consolidated. Without a verified USI, certificates or Statements of Attainment cannot be issued.

**Public Training**
Refund Policy / Training Cancellations : To receive a full refund, cancellations must be made by contacting Leading Integral Training or emailing admin@leadingintegraltraining.au at least five working days before the course start date. Cancellations made less than five working days before the course start date will not be eligible for a refund.
Leading Integral Training reserves the right to cancel a course at any time. In such cases, you will be informed before the course begins and offered the chance to reschedule or receive a refund.
If you cannot attend a course or arrive late, you must call and notify Leading Integral Training to reschedule the course. This request must be made within 24 hours of the originally booked course’s start time and is subject to transfer and standby rules.
Training:
First Aid training by Leading Integral Training 45895 imparts skills and knowledge in First Aid management, but it does not equate to a medical qualification. Leading Integral Training 45895 assumes no responsibility for participants’ actions following the course. The training involves moderate physical activity, such as kneeling and bending. Leading Integral Training 45895 is not liable for any harm resulting from participation in the training sessions.

To gain accreditation, you must:

Credit Transfer / Recognition of Prior Learning:
Leading Integral Training acknowledges accredited First Aid training by other Registered Training Organisations. Applications for credit transfer should be submitted 14 days before the course commencement date.

You can challenge any decision made during training by:
- Discussing it with your trainer.

It includes early childhood workers and educators who provide care for school-aged children in after-school programs and vacation care.

- performing at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted single rescuer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) (5 cycles of both compressions and ventilations) on a child resuscitation manikin placed on the floor
- managed, in line with ARC guidelines, the unconscious, non-breathing infant, including:
- performing at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted single rescuer CPR (5 cycles both compressions and ventilations) on an infant resuscitation manikin placed on a firm surface
- managed child casualties, with the following:
- anaphylaxis
- asthma
- non-life-threatening bleeding
- choking – child and infant
- envenomation, using pressure immobilisation
- fractures, dislocations, sprains and strains, using appropriate immobilisation techniques
- minor wound cleaning and dressing
- nosebleed
- shock
- responded to at least one simulated first aid incident that involves providing treatment for a child or infant contextualised to the candidate’s workplace or site, where the candidate has no knowledge of the casualty’s condition prior to starting treatment, including:
- identifying the casualty’s illness or injury through history, signs and symptoms
- using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
- providing appropriate first aid treatment
- conveying incident details to emergency services or advising casualty on any required post incident action
- providing an accurate verbal and written report of the incident
- reviewing the incident.
